The US $90 million BIW Labour Accommodation is expected to become a model residential community at the Bahrain Investment Wharf for industrial workers, setting a new benchmark for labour accommodation and supporting amenities.
Covering a total area of 120,000 square meters, BIW Labour Accommodation will offer safe, secure and hygienic living conditions for more than 20,000 industrial workers, with segregated accommodation for unskilled laborers, tradesmen, technicians and supervisors.
The labour camp will provide 77 high quality accommodation blocks ranging from three to five floors. Construction of the Labour blocks started in 2008 and work is in progress to build this model residential community with phase 1 nearing completion.
The labour accommodation blocks are offered for sale at rates that are competitive with the current market, adding value to the marketability of these labour residential blocks.
