Durrat Al Bahrain Marina at Durrat Al Bahrain
The US$ 1.3 billion Durrat Al Bahrain Marina is destined to become the first mixed use marina development of its kind and size in the Middle East. Covering an area of 600,000 square metres, and catering to nearly 4,000 households, this specially designed waterfront project will comprise villas, town houses and apartments, commercial space, recreational facilities, restaurants and cafes. The Marina will expected to accomodate up to 400 boats and yachts. The design of the development will provide residents with splendid views of the open sea and the adjacent golf course.
Durrat Al Bahrain Marina is being jointly developed by Tameer and Durrat Khaleej Al Bahrain, a key component of US$ 3.5 billion Durrat Al Bahrain development. This luxurious residential, commercial and family tourism project, covering 20 square kilometres, is located on the south east coast of Bahrain. The largest project of its kind to date in Bahrain, it is a partnership between Government of Bahrain and Kuwait Finance House. Components include Atoll Islands villas, Petal islands villas, Crescent Island apartments, retail outlets and restaurants, a hotel and a golf course.
Durrat Al Bahrain is close to the Bahrain International Circuit, Riffa Golf Course, Al Areen Desert Spa & Resort, and the proposed Bahrain-Qatar Friendship causeway.
