1. Samir Yaqoob Al Nafisi Chairman

   Mr. Al-Nafisi has extensive management experience in a number of different sectors including trading, manufacturing and financial services. He is currently General Manager of Yaqoob Al Nafisi & Sons Company, and former General Manager of Al Nafisi Trading Company, both based in Kuwait.

    

   Prior to this, he held managerial positions at Kuwait Commercial Bank and Kuwait Insulating Materials Manufacturing Company. Mr. Al Nafisi has equally extensive experience of serving on the Boards of numerous financial institutions and companies in the GCC.

    

   He is currently the Chairman of Inovest BSC (Bahrain), Muthana Investment Company (Kuwait), Vice Chairman of Kuwait Finance House (Kuwait), and formerly a Board member of Gulf Investment House (Kuwait), and Khaleeji Commercial Bank (Bahrain), Gulf Finance House (Bahrain), and International Turnkey Systems (Kuwait).

2. Ahmed Rashid Al Qattan Vice Chairman

   A Certified Public Accountant from Georgia State Board of Accountancy, USA, Mr. Al Qattan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Bahrain.

    

   Mr. Al Qattan has extensive experience in the banking, manufacturing, oil and gas, trading and contracting sectors across the GCC.

    

   Before joining Tameer, he was Chief Investment Officer at Gulf Finance House and, prior to this, a Partner at Arthur Andersen in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Mr. Al Qattan is Chairman of Bahrain Investment Wharf and Vice Chairman of Tala Property Development Company.

3. Farid Saud Al Fozan Board Member

   Farid Saud Al Fozan is currently the Vice-chairman of Gulf Group Holding Company a Kuwaiti based company that owns a number of specialist companies strategically located throughout the GCC countries.

    

   He is a board member on a number of investment, real estate and financial companies, namely: Boubyan Bank (Kuwait), Gulf Real Estate (Saudi Arabia), Amlak Real Estate Co. (Kuwait) SAFCORP (Kuwait) and Inovest BSC (Bahrain). 

    

   He is also the Chairman of Young Arab Leaders Organization Kuwait Chapter (an NGO). Mr. Al Fozan  graduated from Kuwait University with a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration majoring in Banking and Finance.

4. Jamal Abdul Rahman Al Rowaih Board Member

   Mr. Al Rowaih has over 25 years of experience in the real estate sector, managing the extensive Al Rowaih family real estate portfolio.

    

   He also holds the position of General Manager in Razan General Trading and Contracting and Razan International Real Estate specializing in various real estate trading, acquisitions, leasing and management of properties.

    

   Mr. Al Rowaih also founded and contributed to a number of project funds in various sectors such as real estate, industrial and finance with a regional spread in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Lebanon, Dubai and Oman.

    

   Mr. Al Rowaih graduated in 1980 with Bachelor Degree in Business Administration Faculty of Commerce and Economics and Political Science from Kuwait University.

5. Adel Yaqoob Al Nafisi Board Member

   Mr. Al Nafisi has over 33 years experience in the real estate market, he is currently the Managing Director of Yaqoob Al Nafisi & Sons Company in Kuwait.

    

   Prior to this he held managerial positions at Al Nafisi Trading Company and Commercial Portfolio Company (Kuwait). Mr. Al Nafisi served as a board member of International Financial Advisors Company (IFA) a listed Company on the Kuwaiti Stock Exchange and is also a member of the Foreign Investment Company Committee of (IFA).

    

   He also served as a Board Member of the Real Estate Construction & Manufacturing Co. (Kuwaiti closed joint stock company).  Mr. Al Nafisi holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Cairo.

6. Saleh Turki Al Khamees Board Member

   A holder of a Master Degree in Business Administration from Kuwait Maastricht Business School and a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals.

    

   Mr. Al Khamees joined GIH in 2001 and is currently the Vice President of Investment Funds.  Prior to that, Mr. Al Khamees worked at National Industrial Group (NIC).  Mr. Al Khamees is also a Board Member of Arkan Al-Kuwait Co. 

7. Talal Khalid Al Nisif Board Member

   A professional with more than 18 years experience in various banking, finance and investment fields, Mr. Al Nisif heads the Private Banking Department at Kuwait Finance House (Kuwait), considered as one of the leading Islamic banks in the region.

    

   Mr. Al Nisif is a member on the executive committee for enhancement of fund’s base and a chartered wealth manager and a registered financial specialist from the American Academy of Financial Management.

    

   Mr. Al Nisif serves as a member of various companies including KFH Asset Management SDN BHD (Malaysia), Aviation Lease and Finance Co. (ALAFCO) (Kuwait), and Al Salam International Hospital Co. (Kuwait).

    

   Mr. Al Nisif graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Commerce from Kuwait University.

8. Sh. Dr. Fareed Mohammed Hadi Sharia Advisor

   An accomplished and widely respected sharia scholar, Dr. Hadi holds two degrees from Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, Riyadh, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia: a Master’s Degree in Islamic Call and Ihtisab (College of Islamic Call) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Prophetic Sunna and its Sciences (College of Fundamentals of Religion).

    

   He holds a Ph.D. in Islamic Law from Edinburgh University, UK. Dr. Hadi has served as an Imam and Khatib at Al-Darwish Mosque in Bahrain, and at Khadim Al-Haramin Mosque in Edinburgh.
